such a rare treat to see vids of chuck v
badass, nothing more to say.
Pretty cool. How young was he in those first few clips? He really put on a ton of weight and size towards the end.
if i watch this every day, how much will my test levels rise?
It depends HOW you watch it. I recommend around-the-clock viewings, Clockwork Orange style.
Not even human
sweet vid, but i have a question. i know people always say "chuck is chuck, he trains how he wants because hes a madman" etc etc... but I've been taught to hold your air on during the rep on the squat... Is this just one of those things he can do because hes such a badass or what?
Not trying to nitpick, just always looking to improve form
new powerlifting idol
when he was doing bench presses...
what use do the bands have when they're on top?
i know if they're on the bottom, it'll help. but this is the first time i see them laced on top
Train the lockout.
you got it twisted bro, either way the bands make the top end harder, if theyre on the bottom of the rack they are pulling down on you more the higher up the bar is. if theyre around the top they are pulling up on the bar making it lighter however its much lighter at your chest than it is at the top.
bands on bottom = bar weight + band tension
bands on top = bar weight - band tension but either way relative to the weight on your chest its heavier at lockout
so when the bands are on the bottom, its to train the "lift-off" of the press?
edit: ok, thanks guys
If you want to bring up quotes remember the most important: "don't do what Chuck does"
cant have power lifting without some devildriver
isnt chuck the one that always gets bloody noses?
ah yes, i was paraphrasing the idea... ok thanks. thats all i was gettin at
a lot of them get bloody noses
from their raging coke habits i bet!!?!
