can anyone recommend some rain gear? is the two piece better than a poncho? feel like the poncho may get in the way of draw from holster.

Unless it's really, really, really pouring, I just wear a rain jacket and deal with wet pants. I'd vote no on the poncho.

Unfortunately I've shot in the rain quite a bit this year... I just wear a Columbia rain jacket. Don't do anything to cover the pants. The worst is wet feet though... if I'm headed to a match and expecting rain I'll always throw my boots and a fresh pair of socks in the truck.

LOL, it's great to see the difference here in the PNW. Most of us keep Goretex gear with us daily in our cars/trucks :)

Depending on the amount of rain, I'll usually wear either a softshell or a regular rain coat (not parka length) If it's raining really heavy I'll throw some pants on, but generally just deal with damp pants.
