Pre-WO drink, muscle milk?

    Ive been taking NO-Xplode before my workouts for a while now. Ever since they switched up the formula it no longer works and just makes me feel nausiated.

    I want to sway away from drinks like NO-Xplode. So I was thinking about downing some muscle milk before my workouts instead.

    My reasoning for that is because I eat lunch at 11:30am and usually dont have anything to eat between then and my workout at 5:30pm. Unless Im really hungry then Ill have a tuna packet or something.

    So I really have nothing in me when I go to workout. Which is probably why I needed the pick me up of the xplode.

    Will the muscle milk do anything for me pre workout? If not, whats a better pre workout drink? Thanks.

    I personally could not workout after not eating for 6 hours. But as a pre-WO drink, I mix some gatorade powder and vanilla protein.

    I eat an oatmeal/protein/peanut butter/milk mix about an hour to hour n a half before working out ... sounds like you need to eat more.

    25g protein and 50g gatorade powder..

    i recently started sipping on xtend during my lifting, but i cant tell if it's doing anything.

    the NO in a nutshell has caffeine. Thats why it helps you.

    Drinking protein is good and helps rebuilding of muscle during your workout, but drinking it wont give you the boost or energy your anticipating. Same for muscle milk. It wont give you the pre-workout energy boost.

    Just eat something high in sugar before. Like a PBandJ or a apple. Get the blood sugar up since it will be low if you like to starve yourself.

    shit like this doesn't make or break you in the gym, just find what works for you. Personally, I hate eating within 1-2 hours of going to the gym because it makes me feel less energized.

    you can't mix liquid Gatorade with protein powder?

    muscle milk has a ton of carbs should provide some energy
