MMA Pre-tournament prep?

    What does everyone like to do before the tournament and what do you guys eat?

    I jog, spring, jump rope, and do some light drilling. I like to eat pb & j sandwiches and just drink water/gatorade throughout the tournament. Its my food of choice :cool:

    I usually just hit a light warmup and stretch eat some bananas and drink my patented uber diluted asprin+berocca mix.

    I'm going with the bit method from now on, smoke weed, drink whiskey, sleep in
     
  4. Ok, week before the tournament this is what you do..


    Buy a couple of packs of smokes.. and smoke..

    Dont train but a hour a day if that, and make it light..


    Dont run or do any cardio just smoke..


    When you get to work eat donuts, cheeseburgers and fast food so you dont make weight..

    Back in high school before wrestling tourneys, my prep would be to run in my coat up and down the stairs because had to make 145 even though I was already a 6ft twig.

    Egg whites and oatmeal for breakfast, generous portions. Snack on fruit and granola bars throughout the day. For most tournaments, I ref right up to my division, so my warmup is usually running to my bag, rapidly changing, and running back to compete.
