pre game nutrition?

    those of you that play sports like football, basketball etc, what do you have to eat/drink before a game and how long before the game do you have it?

    I used to have a banana/almonds/5g CEE/8mg ephedrine about an hour before football games. 5g more CEE about halfway through, but in retrospect a bunch of gatorade would have helped too.

    Mono would probably have caused some cramping, so I avoided it.

    Either that or a slice or two of non-greasy pizza.

    When I was in a lifting comp I had two pieces of pizza and a RedBull as my preworkout meal. But lifting comps aren't exactly endurance sports.

    The usual dose is like 3 g per day and you reach saturation within a month, so it's enough.
