A&P PP'd about 140 photos, and now I think my monitor settings were off

I don't think I've ever calibrated the color/brightness on my LCD at home. So I took over 300 shots at a wedding (not the photographer, I was just the best man) and PP'd about 140 keepers. I'm no pro with the photoshop, so I just concerned myself with brightness, contrast, and sharpness. I used the photo program that came with my D70, PictureProject.

I uploaded the photos, then sent them out to everyone, and now looking at them at work I think they're all way too dark. They looked great on my home monitor. Case in point:

I'm pretty pissed now. How can I fix this on my monitor at home? Is there any "monitor standard" I can set all my screens at?

You didn't get your image attached.

Try using your factory settings. What monitor do you use?

I have two Dell FP2001's and one of mine is horribly bright. You may want to consider contacting your manufacturer and requesting a replacement if you think the colors are drastically off.

Yeah, figured it wouldn't attach. Should be fixed now.

The thing is, both of these are Dell 17" LCDs, purchased at the same time, and I haven't touched any of the settings. Is there any sort of monitor baseline that my settings should be at? Any sort of program that will normalize colors and brightness?

Yeah, a few hours of work down the drain :(
