I'm doing a tribute and I need a little guidance on powerpoint. I have some images I want to make a slideshow with and have music playing in the background. Sounds pretty simple, right? I'm not familiar enough with PowerPoint to insert the music clips. I thought it would be as easy as inserting a file-- movies and sound, sound from file, but it doesn't seem to be. Any insight into simply inserting music clips (MP3's on my hard drive) in a slideshow?

Also, about the clips... What is a good program to use to take clips from an entire song (again, MP3) and make a "collage" with the clips? Maybe a few seconds from each song made into one longer MP3 file for the show? Hope someone can help. Thanks. :bigthumb:
