i've been having problems with power management since going to leopard. I read online that deleting powermanagement.bundle might fix these problems. It said that when you reboot it would reconfigure these settings and reinstall the powermanagement.bundle. Well, i'm an idiot and didn't back this up so when i deleted it and emptied the trash, it never came back on restart. Now, it won't recognize the battery properly. It runs from the battery but the energy saver settings have disappeared. There is also a blank spot where the battery icon used to be in the menu bar and when i click it it says "No batteries available."

CLIFFS: can someone upload/email me their powermanagement.bundle (found in /System/Library/SystemConfiguration/) and see if that works. i really don't want to reinstall.

i have a macbook if that matters.

nevermind, found it on the install disk.

got my power management settings back, but still haven't fixed the power management issue of it not falling asleep on it's own.
