I've had my powerbook g4 for around a year and a half with no problems, but recently it has been going into sleep mode at random times, when it is idle and when I am using it. I have the power settings on so it doesn't go to sleep until 3 hours of inactivity. Can anyone help?

    Specs:
    Powerbook G4 1.5 mhz
    1 gig of ram

Will give more info if needed.

Now it is stuck in sleep mode :noes:
Going to the genius bar, hopefully this won't be expensive...

Sometimes mine gets stuck in sleep when the power adapter isn't connected. I had this happen the other day, and once I plugged it in it came right back to life.

It ended up being a problem with the logic board, there was a defect in it and it was causing my computer to overheat and go into sleep mode during normal use. Caught a big break and am getting it repaired for free at the genius bar, even though I am out of warranty :wiggle:
