anyone else having this issue? I have the 60gb one. The leds on the front respond fine and I can control everything via the remote. But there is no response from the power button. I am only concerned because I am sure the power and eject buttons are on the same board and if the eject button breaks, I dont know if there is a way thru software to eject a disk?

Ya hit triangle on the disc icon, eject disc. Sucks your buttons are going. I'm assuming they're the touch sensitive ones on the fat?

Thanks - I am going to try this when I get home to make sure this works. I dont care if the buttons fail, as long as I can remove them through software. And yeah touch sensitive buttons on a series 1. I just like being able to play ps2 games also

If it's working 100% as it should, it will give you a small dose of fear every time you touch it, in anticipation of the RROD that's soon to follow.
