Hey guys, I have a question.

Are both of the switches (power and reset) for motherboards momentary contact? I was messing with some spare switches at a friend's house and they felt like they were momentary, I don't have any spare ones laying around to actually test.. but I hoping someone would know.

    Thanks :wiggle:

Thanks for the answer. I was thinking how sweet it would be to have two bare wires that you touch together like a ghetto doorbell or something

heh the ghetto doorbell case...hmm interesting, what about if your case has one of those front doors on it to make it when you open the door it turns on? only bad would be you cant close the door, that is unless you told windows to do nothing when power is pressed

u can set it up u have to hold power for 4 seconds for it to turn off.

i know i can click power all day long, and aslong as i dont hold it in for 4 seconds, it wond do anything

Well I found the switch I want to use, rather than the bare wires

It's $10.95 plus shipping from Jameco

Should be pretty bad ass when the system is done. 100% aluminum cut on a CNC mill :wiggle:

You can buy them when they're finished :big grin:
