so what's the point in changing the handle for the 400 if it makes it easier?

They are kinda just freak shows. I'm of the opinion that they screwed up on the HG400, I dont think the spring materials are up to par with the rest of them, its breaks in a whole lot fast and gets much easier doing so. No one will ever close the HG500. The one that Gunter almost closed was a prototype that has sence been closed, just not under the offical conditions.

What circumstances was it closed under? Don't think that anyone will EVER get it, even with grouchtype training? :noes:

I dont recall the exact manner of shutting it. But im pretty sure its nothing more then a light set, similar to the CoC rules. But I know a few people on Grip board closed that original one with a deep set. It was mailed around to a bunch of the major grip athelets before it was put into production.

How come you never post pics of inverted/reverse crunks (spring facing downwards) ?

I just started doing them, is it normal for the inverted reps to be much much harder than the normal reps?

I dont do inverteds very often as it is. But when I do them its usually just my pinky, ring and middle fingers with an easier gripper.

But I did happen to take this picture at Nukegoats house earlier today.

Maybe its just the angle of the pic Grouch, but you got some freaky-ass large hands. :coold:

I'm still working on closing my HG 200. I think I gave myself a hernia trying last night.

my hands are 8" from wrist to the tip of my middle finger. I guess thats a big hand but its not like oddly big or anything.

My current workout is M-W-F 10-15 reps spaced through out the day, usually like 7 within a 3 hour period then the rest when ever i'm motivated. T-Th i do 3 reps about 15 minutes apart and thats it. Sat-Sun are rest days.
