    oh my god, this thing totally kills my crappy dell. I'm on the mac bandwagon now. this was about a hundred bucks more than what I paid for the D620 in July and it feels about a million times better in terms of build quality alone. and damned if it isn't nice to not have to reformat a new computer. OSX is the shit.

    anyway, you guys already know this stuff but I am just mega impressed. I'll be in here quite a bit now since I'm a noobert with this stuff.

    white, I got the one below the black one off the shelf. $1200 with my educadtion discount. this thing is a bargain compared with the $1100 I spent on the Dell.

    and yes it's the guy from rounders

    i love how many people are switching.... thanks to costco;s 6 month return policy, my buddy and his wife just got an MB and an MBP for christmas....

    i love it even more to watch my apple shares go up

    I know they carried mini's and the iMac G5 at one point but nothing shows on their site as of right now

    the only thing that sucks is getting used to a bunch of new shortcuts and everything. I'm slowly picking it up though. OSX is a lot more intuitive than XP. I keep finding little things that are pretty cool.

    I do have to admit though that that last post (and this one) came from my now old and busted dell since I can't pry the macbook from the wifey's hands. :mamoru:

    one small question, I was looking at dashboard widgets and tried out a cpu temp monitor one but nothing came up. is there not a cpu thermometer installed in plain jane macbooks?
