hmm... well I don't use myspace for work shit, but I do use facebook, and I get quite a bit of referral stuff, not to mention my sites get seen a quite a bit from RSS feeds on my facebook.

I'm hoping twitter is the same way. It's already directing some traffic.

mayhaps you should look into it if you've got a site to promote.

It's worthless, self important and a tremendous waste of time. You'd probably like it.

If you like posting about, and reading about, all the menial shit your friends and random people from popular websites (people who run Digg, Totally Rad Show and other podcasts) do, then go for it. If not, walk on by.

The people who use it the most either have it on their phone or laptop.

someone asked me this a while back, and i had no idea wtf it was.

i looked it up and looked at a few others twitter pages, and i still don't see the reason for it.

who honestly cares that you're "sitting at BK enjoying their flamebroiled whopper" or how "ms becker is making me stay after class. what a witch with a B! LOLOLOZZZ!!!"

i don't get it. you wanna know what i'm doing? give me a f'n call on the phone.

Haha... yeah, I pretty much thought the same thing, but I hear it's a great way to get traffic to your site. You can just text updates and shit.

I dunno.. figured you guys would be more Web 2.0 compliant.. haha. :mamoru:

Well whether you think it's stupid or not... the general public seems to be eating it up. And whether you like to admit it or not, It's effective for generating traffic to your site. :greddy:

I'm fully aware of its popularity. Just the concept behind it is kinda lame.

I have tried it. Haven't used the account in forever tho.
