how long have you had it? they give me free batteries every time i go up there
I can has applecare
meh, thats not bad for 17 months, mine was down to like 65% after 30 cycles
happened like 2-3 times and they replace it every time
applecare will only cover the battery for the first year.
son of a bitch
not true. they will replace it if the life is poor before 300 cycles.
My battery sucks...
^ ugh, istatpro says that i've had 322 cycles, not 4 and my charger is not plugged in right now...
EDIT: i got the latest coconutbattery, that fixed the problem
I use to work for AppleCare. They will replace it if under 300 cycles and under a year old.
My macbook battery was way over a year and they replaced it. Maybe i'm just lucky.
you need to upgrade to the latest version of coconut battery, unless you really only have 7 loadcycles...
I need to upgrade too I think
What are you talking about?
I was able to get more than original capacity by doing a couple full drain/charge cycles.
cycles : 282
age: 18 mos
So apple care will cover this ?
whats the diff. between the top and bottom anyways ?
Your one-year warranty includes replacement coverage for a defective battery. You can extend your replacement coverage for a defective battery to three years from the date of your notebook purchase with the AppleCare Protection Plan. However, the AppleCare Protection Plan for notebook computers does not cover batteries that have failed or are exhibiting diminished capacity except when the failure or diminished capacity is the result of a manufacturing defect. For MacBook Air owners, Apple offers a battery replacement service. You can purchase replacement batteries for late models of Apple notebooks directly from the Apple Store.
