    1. After lifting, how much carbs should be consumed with the protein? (for a male 5'9" 175lbs)
    2. What kind of carbs should be eaten? Are dextrose and maltodextrin good fast acting carbs or just fads?
    3. When and what should be the meal after the post workout meal?
    4. Are BCAAs very helpful in the post workout meal to enhance protein synthesis?

BCAA can be a nice addition if you want but don't sweat it.

    cool, thanks for this info.
In the post workout meal, I wanted to have liquid carbs and most of the liquied carbs out there like gatorade or fruit juice have refined sugar and refined carbs which are bad.. I was wondering what could be better options..
And also, about the post-post workout meal, this is the last meal of the day for me and I try to eat less or no carbs in this meal since I am cutting right now. Can this meal be mostly protein or is it important to keep the insulin high with the carbs in this meal too and prevent muscle breakdown.

Meh, I began writing the EDU and it's fucking long. Unless you REALLY want to drink it, I would prefer a solid carbs source since they contain more micronutrients. I don't really have anything to suggest since drinking water + glucose/dextrose/malto is the easiest solution but not the best.
As far as the last meal goes... The carb at night thing is dumb. What you need is carbs after your workout (mainly 1-2h PWO). If that means you have to eat it before bed, I don't see a problem there.

In for this. You seem knowledgeable so I'd definitely read it.

I think we should do a "ONCE AND FOR ALL FAQ/EDU" for F&N.

I think it would be a great project for everyone to come together and just get it done.

The stickies/archives are great, but a "once and for all" would make banning non-sticky-reading newbies so much easier.
