    Pretty cool little resource. Don't put too much stock in the food suggestions or tips they offer, but this is a very handy way to keep track of exactly what you eat during the day and keep yourself from fudging the numbers. Not everything you eat will be on there but a surprising amount of things that you wouldn't expect to find are. Once you have everything on there you can click "analysis" and get your carb/protein/fat ratio in percentages along with a slightly more detailed breakdown underneath.

    Here's mine for today (10/9/2008)

    For some background, I am 195lb, 5'11 and my maintenance caloric intake is about 2800 per day. On this particular day my only exercise was my 5x5 routine, which took me a little over 90 minutes today.

    If you're anything like me, you'll be surprised at how many extra calories you were taking in that you conveniently forgot about when you added it up in your head.

    why not? :hsugh: Normal ratio would be somewhere around 40/40/20 but I'm cutting so I'm trying to keep it at 12-15% fat and carbs/protein balanced

    6 inch sub from Lennys
    Can of tuna
    Protein shake/waxy maine
    PWO Shake / waxy maize
    Taco Cabana 1/2 chicken all white and 2 tortillas (which by the way are heavenly)

    Since I moved to Texas I've been eating like shit. I can see why 95% of Texas is overweight.

    :hsugh: About a third of those calories were consumed prior to my workout (along with at least half of the carbs I ate all day)

    My RMR with activity factored is about 3500 cal/day

    I'm cutting by around 500 cal/day

    3500-500 = ?

    Especially given the length and intensity of my training today (and also considering that I only take one day off from training of some sort typically during the week, it's either weightlifting or hiit 6 days/week) I'd say I'm in pretty decent shape for the day :hsugh:

    2 cans of tuna

    16oz of 90% ground beef

    4 slices of bread

    banana

    4 whole eggs

    i'm about to change the bread for some rice b/c the lack of carbs is really tempering with my workout session.
