Not only the strobist work is exceptional but the playful ideas of every single photo. Capturing the joys of fatherhood.

Oddly enough - I can't think of anyone photography related who has inspired me. I just see something, and try to capture it in an emotional type of way.

I mean - everyone's talent inspires me in some way. I guess I just don't attribute what i've learned to any one or few persons specifically.

my inspiration comes from the shitty pics i take. each month i look back at pics i took, and i realize things i did wrong. composition, wrong aperture, etc.

i try to not forget the path i'm taking and how i keep getting gradually better.

Yeah okay well technically you will improve in that sense but it sounds like youre just not taking risks artistically or visually. Don't get me wrong not saying you don't but that really is how it sounds like. And again you dont have to, you take photography as how ever you want it.

still a total noob, but in the summer when i started i thought pics like this were awesome

    http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2477/3727717757_c58e604c3c_o.jpg
    http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3466/3727780373_267f43641a_b.jpg

now i realize they're pretty meh. the 1st one is boring since the guy isn't shooting anything. maybe if there was like a viking ship in the water or something.

2nd is boring and would be far more interesting if i composed it diff, zoomed in.

now i try to shoot more interesting perspectives like such

so ya know. learning little by little.

thanks. i'm proud of that one because it came out exactly how i wanted it to. it wasn't a mistake. heinzanova and i were walking along in prague snapping pics as the sun went down. we both saw the opportunity for shots like these.

actually thought this one would be better, but it's not. i wish i would have used a faster shutter or something to give the statues more life, instead of just shadows

Just the way you said it sounded like you only go back check technical things despite the fact if they work or not.

    But yeah. nice pics anyway.
