Well you probably download everything, all day long, and you probably have multiple copies. I used to be like that. And that probably includes other stuff like music videos, movies and porn.

I actually LISTEN to every single song I have and only download the stuff I like, and only 1 version of each song.

no. my porn is over 120gb. & thats on a seperate drive. i'm talking stictly mp3's i care about.
i have a drive with mp3's i dont' care about from random black metal bands i once liked somewhere. but i wasn't counting that either.

& why would i have more than one version fo a song? :ugh:
i'm anal as hell about mp3.s

all of them are formatted by artist name - album title -tracknumber- song name.mp3
& each band has its own folder, & each album has its own folder.

i'm not gonn a get into a mp3 collection pissing contest. but why would i bother wasting space for shit i don't really want?
hell between bright eyes, the beatles, slayer, kmfdm, pantera & weezer alone i probably have 4gb. i can't immagine if i had metallica on mp3 instead of just cd's.

Hmm... I also don't want this to turn into "my collection is bigger than your collection", but I don't think you want me to list mine as I have 1230 artists and 66GB.

Instead, I'll post what is in my "top 100 played" smart playlist in iTunes.

    Andre Nickatina & Equipto
    The Aquabats
    Autumndivers
    Ben Folds Five
    Benedetti & Svoboda Duo
    Blink 182
    Bob Marley
    Bonnie Summerville
    Boy Hits Car
    Cary Brothers
    Custom
    Daft Punk
    Dashboard Confessional
    David Gray
    Dilated Peoples
    DJ Shadow
    Einar Steen-Nokleberg
    Elliott Smith
    Eminem
    Evanescence
    Eve
    Five for Fighting
    Frou Frou
    Green Day
    Incubus
    Iron and Wine
    Jack Johnson
    John Mayer
Jekyll & Hyde (from the play soundtrack)
    The Killers
    Notorious B.I.G.
    OK Go
    Outkast
    Patrick Park
    Radiohead
    Rooney

    Switchfoot
    Yellowcard
    Zero 7

That might be somewhat representative of the main artists. Although quite a few are missing. :-/

i just added up all mine, i have 45 gigs. 80 gigs is impressive, I couldnt imagine doubling what I have. but you do seem to have a far more eclectic taste than I.
