"your going to hurt yourself doing squats like that" (My buddy and I were doing good mornings). When we told him we were doing good mornings he scratched head, looked puzzled, and slipped even further into retardation.

dude some fag at my work said that. I was talking to a guy who used to play pro baseball about fitness and stuff and some computer nerd came out of nowhere and said that eating more than 20g of protein per day is pointless because it cant be absorbed. ok, tool, so thats why people eat lots of chicken and supplement protein, because its pointless, riiiiiiight.

Haha I had people bitch and the gym owner asked if I could not slam the weights down (after several sets of 500+ lb DL's)

So I asked him exactly how he expected me to sit that weight down softly. At least he didn't really care about the chalk I was slinging around.

Funny how he didn't even ask us what excersize we were doing before commenting on our form. The guy had the nerve to show us the "correct squat form", of course they were 1/3 squats, he must have been a personal trainer.

I was showing my gf how to do squats on the smith, and a kid I know said "don't use that thing, it causes injuries." While I know regular squats are more beneficial, the smith machine isn't exactly a death contraption.

smith squats are actually more likely to cause injury because of greater shearing forces on the joints and whatnot, someone can dig up some articles on it if they're so inclined.
