Im trying to just eat better...I know how to work out etc...Just trying to drop some extra BF%'s. Anyways, I was wondering what the best thing to eat after a long run would be? I am always so confused as to what to eat after a long run...

Also, my current meal plan includes the following...

    7am Breakfast - 1 1/2 cups oatmeal, 1 hard boiled egg
    9:30 snack - 1 cup oatmeal
    12 lunch - 1 can Tuna + Apple
3:30 snack - Hard boiled egg, 2 pieces of turkey
    4 - Gym
7 dinner - Chicken breast, salad w/ cottage cheese, and rice
10 - Protein shake w/ banana and a 1/4 cup of cottage cheese.

Does that sound healthy enough? Or what would you brollys suggest?

Well, ya, I drink protein/creatine shakes PWO of course, just didnt put it in there, cause its just...normal?

But a long run is about 3-4 miles normally. I would drink a protein shake, but I dont feel like drinking protein after a run...I was curious if there was something light. I have been running forever, and never really ate after runs, but feel like I should? Maybe a banana or some cottage cheese for extra proteins?

Also, im not some newb at lifting and all this jazz...I used to post under the name "White" and lost between 90-100lbs thanks to the advice and routines from this board about 3 yrs ago..So, dont ignore me, zomg.

Also, does my "diet" seems straight to the point and "effective"?
