    I don't think there is anything on the market that even begins to compare to Adobe Photoshop CS2. You can use Aperture for apples if you shoot in raw.

    Photoshop is deffinately the best. It's also really expensive though, so if you can't afford it I would recommend Paint Shop Pro - it's much cheaper and has many of the same features.

    free photoshop ftw! uhh, I mean its free because I use it on campus machines only...:coolugh:

    my friend got me window xp sp2 professional edition through his school for 14 buck, and he said photoshop is like 30 bucks for the best one, so ill do that
