too matchy and not very usable. There really isn't anything that I like about this room except for the bar, wood beam mantle and the niches :o

I also think it's stupid to call them "bachelor pads" seeing as how these aren't really bachelor pads at all. 99% of bachelor pads look like shit. leather couch and matching chair + oversized TV + beer posters ftl :ugh:

well you and im and everyone else in the hugly successful other thread have differnet opinions

when i think of bachelor pad i think of somethin cool and hip and modern with the latest technology, all without being femine

you've got the wrong target audience. we're not exactly the "bachelor pad" crowd so much as the people in the main forum.

This is the new residence of homogay interior design crew :o

dude, that crew RAN those old threads...

actually looking back on it, it was 2-3 guys who were like interior design students- who each had like 200 pics each that ran the thread

there was some good stuff in that thread, but it was basically just pics of any kind of nice space in general

you're not gonna get nearly the same response here though because we just don't have the volume of traffic and peoples' tastes here are more focused. Part of the reason that we had this sub-forum created was so that we could discuss design with an emphasis on certain ideas and concepts, rather than just having it all grouped into one clusterfuck like it would be in the main forum :dunno:
