    Scanning, editing, grain/noise reduction

    I.e. Photoshop, paint shop, noise ninja. Looking for software after the format- trying to make the best of my panasonic fz10.

    what makes it so bad ass? IMO it's big and bulky with too many features I have no idea how to use.

  6. Photoshop isn't a "must have" photo software..
















    It's a NECESSITY!!!!!!! :noes:
    If you suck at photoshop then maybe photography isn't for you :hs:
    or maybe you should hire someone to beautify your pics (I'm available :coold: )

    downloader pro, breeze browser, qimage, Photoshop CS2, picassa, pagemaker, illustrator, acrobat professional, some type of color management program for the monitor, exif viewer, photo to slideshow

    Microsoft Paint for resizing and cropping.

    Editing photos is crap.

    editing is neccessary for digital photography imo


    viper, why would a photographer need illustrator??? thats a graphic design program isnt it?

    why not? never designed a brochure or hand out? I use page maker mostly, but its installed for shits and giggles (thanks OTHub).

    Photoshop CS2 and Adobe Bridge. Bridge is very very important. NN, Picasa and that's about it.

    I use PS CS, focus magic, photo mechanic, illustrator...

    It lets you load up everything in Camera RAW which I think is more powerful than RSE. RSE is good, but I feel like I have more control with Camera RAW.

    i'm still failing to see what bridge has to do with this. You can get a windows program for viewing RAW images before importing to adobe raw/CS, which is much faster it just shows them like a jpeg
