    I'll start:

Internet connection sharing and ad-hoc networks are stupid easy in OS X. My router took a shit and now it won't serve DHCP to my newer macs, but I was able to set up my powerbook as a second router with about three mouse clicks. :eek5:

I love the fact that wherever I take my macbook, I can just plug into any printer, or anyone elses digital camera, and not have to load any software...

Unix under the hood...even though I don't use it regularly.
I also like how just about every change you make happens real time, without have to click apply or OK, then watch the screen refresh. Or even worse, a reboot.

Forgive my ignorance, but why run Photoshop from Windows instead of from OSX?

The only versions that are out are PPC, and with only 512 RAM atm, running it under Rosetta is painfully slow. So this is a decent alternative.

There is nothing greater than expose. If any non-Mac users get on my computer hot corners scare the crap out of them and they all go, "What'd I do?"

CS2 won't go universal, but CS3 is like early next spring I think.

How does CS2 run from Parallels (say, on a C2D MBP with 2 GB)?
    Total clusterfuck?

No idea, haha. I've got CS2 on my macbook pro, and I've got no problems running it. Hoever, in all honesty I wouldn't notice a differnece because I came from an iBook G3.

you should be fine running the PPC version on a c2d mbp w/2GB.. my problem was the 512 RAM. 2 GB will make a huge difference.

now what you need to do is assign a much quicker keyboard shortcut to expose

in system prefs - keyboard - keyboard short cuts - assign Expose/All Windows to command + `

    ultimate alt + tab

my adobe creative suite feels much more intuitive with apple shortcuts than it ever did when I used a pc.

    expose

final cut pro is a godsend for a broke ass filmmaker like myself.

on the laptop: double finger scroll
macs in general: expose, the ease of installing/uninstalling/updating software, how everything just works...

Automater is cool, but I've only had to use it once. I converted and renamed 1200+ pictures to "photo-0000n.jpg" and stuck them all in one folder. That would have been a bitch to do without automater.

Expose is pretty sweet. I don't use the app-switch expose (F9) very much but I use the show-desktop (F11) all the freakin' time. I still cmd+tab for app switching, the expose key F9 is really handy for drag-and-drop though.
