Curious to see what other people can bench. When people are benching 390 and their body weight is 350, doesnt mean much. I want to see the numbers compared with body weight. You don't have to be enbarrassed. :noes: :mamoru:

190... Max was 215 a couple months ago before my gym membership got cancelled (i'm broke). Now I'm working out at home and doing hypertrophy type routine without a bench. It's probably down again due to zero strength training, or at best it's in the same ballpark as 215.

I am 170lbs and my goal is 300lbs by January 1. I maxed out at 280 about 5 months ago. I think I will be able to get it up. :x:

When it comes to maximal strength, many people are more concerned/competitive about lifts like squats, deads, cleans, etc. I think that was the point.

Because to the regular gym population the Bench Press is the "ultimate" show of strength

    220 weight and a max of 270

Don't really max out, but here goes. 150lbs body weight.

Start off with the usual warm up, then 225lbs for 10, 245 for 3-5, then finally 275 once on my own, and an extra two with help.

And yes, it goes all the way down to touch my chest and I do not bounce it off.
