Ok, so I've got a folder that has new files uploaded to it every so often so I don't have to continuously check, and I was wondering if there was a way to have a notification every time a new one appeared. I was thinking maybe something with automator + Growl, but I cant figure out how to exactly. Anyone have any ideas?

Ok, I have a folder. Every so often, I get new files uploaded to it via FTP. I'd like a notification of every time there is a new item in that folder.

This should do what you want. Download and install growl, the following script is located in an extras folder in the growl disk image.
