MIL possible to use star card to buy plane tickets?

    Doubt it. Can't even use the damn thing at the Commissary.

    wha???!!! i use mine there all the time, in norfolk and at the PX/BX whatever the hell it's called here in fort worth.

    The "commissary" on NAS Ft. Worth is run by AAFES and not DECA is why you can use it there, probably the same deal at Norfolk. Back when I had one you couldn't use it in real "commissaries"

    And on that note...I want to stress to everyone here that if you ever hear talk of AAFES taking over the running of Commisaries ...squelch it on the spot. Do not even let people entertain the notion that that might be a good thing in any way shape or form.

    maybe then they would not charge us 5% on the bill and then expect a tip for bagging 1 bag...:ugh:

    I think you could use your Start card at sheppard im not sure that commisary was so much nicer then the one they have here.. i hear they are building a new one maybe it will be ran by Aafes
