    on a macbook pro 15"

I only got the 80gb hard drive because i already have a 300gb external.

I've then decided that I really want my music on my internal HD as well as my pictures. (40gb music + 10gb pics) , between those, my OS install, and all my applications, I don't have enough room on my internal.

cliffs: Is there a way for me to upgrade to the 120 gb internal HD at this point? or am I shit out of luck?

    thanks..

I can't say that i've ever replaced the HDD in a Macbook, but i'd imagine it would be like any other notebook :dunno:

Just find out if it's a SATA drive or not.

    Yes you can upgrade.

You can replace it, scroll to the bottom of this page and on the right are 3 different resolution videos that show you how.

You can also add in an additional drive replacing your superdrive http://www.mcetech.com/optibay/

The best drives for speed/size ratio at the moment are the 160GB offerings from Seagate and Hitachi. Which newegg have for $175 and $165 respectivly.
