possible to gain 10 pounds in one day?

    Ok, so I went off my diet for one day and I was at 190. I go to the scale now and it says 200? Im like wtf. Is it possible to have that big of a swing?

    no, but I dont think my clothes were 10 lbs. Ill go try without.

    I weighed in at 275 on a friday for a meet and was 288-290 by the start of the meet the same time the next day. if you had a lot of sodium, water, and other drinks (like gatorade, etc) its all water weight. and clothing can add a pound or two

    sure it's possible, sunday night after i ate around 6000 calories in 2 hours i was 182lbs, right now after 4 days back on a regular diet i'm 173.

    of course it's not actual fat or muscle gain, just water weight

    i went to red robin and had

    large portion of beef nachos
    large portion of spinach and artichoke dip w/ pita bread + chips
    1 monster burger
    almost 1 wild west bbq burger (my gf had like 2 bites)
    2 servings of steak fries
    apple tart dessert

    then i left and went to the supermarket and picked up a box of chocolate poptarts, and i ate 4 of them with half a jar of peanut butter (made sandwiches dave tate style)

    i was then full :)

    just guessing about the calories, i have no clue how many it actually was

    wow...i'm bulking now and the most "extreme" i've gone was a burrito at Baja Fresh. i'm kinda focusing on keeping it clean :sad2:

    i'm not bulking, just had an eat whatever i want night. otherwise i was at diet calories all last week and the same this week. I'm actually slightly leaner and weigh slightly less right now than in the av pic

    the following monday in the gym i had the best chest day i've ever had...i attribute it to the poptarts :bigthumb:

    since i started dieting in mid-february, i think 3 times including that one.

    so i guess once a month or less, although i also had a few "lesser" cheats... usually involving large quantities of peanut butter.

    well i dieted from feb 15 to memorial day. then i took a couple weeks at maintenance. Last week i jumped back to diet cals which i'll probably stick with for most of the summer, but on weekends when i go down to my shore house i'm much less strict with the diet and don't track calories, and i drink.

    so it may end up being closer to maintenance for the remainder of the summer, with the strict diet during the week making up for weekends. I guess i'll see how it goes...

    holy shit, you and had the EXACT same schedule. Even the maintenance phase, with diet cals during the week, and not tracking+drinking on the weekends.
    Obviously it worked better for you than me. :bigthumb:

    Im doing the same thing aswell, I was going to start bulking but instead I think Im just going to maintain, er diet on the weekdays and eat whatever on the weekend. I guess my bulk starts when my summer ends.
