Yea I dont like/hate the rims...and the mileage seems high.

I was looking at another 02 V6 Automatic mustang. with 80k miles. Stock. They are asking 3,500.

When I was racing my TL at the track, there was some dumb broad that had a Red one, it was even on full slicks and running 16.3s at 4400ft :ugh:

Is there a specific reason the TS is wanting a V6 Mustang?

V6's aren't as blatantly wasteful as V8's are, at least if you don't push them hard. But yeah, the Mustang isn't really a V6 kind of car.

Get a Camry Solara instead. It has a nice V6.

thats not true for all v6's.. i do know that the ls1's get better gas mileage than some gm v6's out there

im guessing insurance reasons.. and im sure the v6's get better gas mileage than the ford v8's.

reasoning for V6 is things like insurance, gas mileage, availability, and price.

If that's the stuff you're concerned about, don't get a Mustang to begin with.

What's that tired Nike slogan? "Play hard or go home", or something like that?

They're gonna see "Ford Mustang" on the insurance application, and they're not going to care what engine it has, except to decide whether or not to use lube.

Only difference in insurance will be because the worth of the car, I have friends that own both one from them/on for wife same year. If you're over 25 the difference should not warrant a car purchase at this point.
