Ok, to start off, im running:

    amd X2 3800
    4 sticks of 512 ddr
    Geforce 6600LE

The Problem : When i am running certin games, adn there is alot going on, or if i am running in a window and surfing the internet. or if i try and run certin games (supreme commander) at higher graphics levels... the computer will outright restart. i dont know what causes it really, my only guess would be that it is somehow overheating? or could it be that a certin component is being overworked? its been a problem for a long time and i could never figure it out. help!

    See if this helps:

Start > Right click My Computer > properties > advanced > startup and recovery settings > Un-click automatically restart. Ok, and exit.
