Awesome. I hope they can pull off the story. The thing is, though, he's right. The zombies DID win from the beginning. Running zombies are too strong, and humanity would probably be wiped out.
That makes it hard to continue the story.
dont see how u can make a sequel without getting off the stroy line
(i hate about the movie that they dont tell u how it begun)
I think the best way to do a sequel would be a pseudo Day of the Dead approach, but like this:
Show the same time period from the point of view of an Army unit. Show how they respond to the crisis, how they react to civilians, how they get overrun, etc.
Same time period, different P.O.V. always makes for an interesting story, just like Night of the Living Dead and the original Dawn of the Dead.
This should make for a good movie. Hope it goes through.

I wonder if this is going to conflict with Romeros latest Dawn movie.....I know that they're not following the same "rules" but this should be interesting.
Zombie movies don't compete with each other - they reinforce each other.
