    I'm on week 5 of my fitness quest. Down 16lbs, 222 -> 206

Oh, and I eat way more than I ever did, in quantity. I cut alot of calories out of my diet and upped protine at least 200%. I work out 3 days a week and squeeze in about 5-7 hours of walking/cardio per week. The weight has been dropping off pretty fast, I also eat a good 5 times a day and take suppliments like Ephedra to help keep my metabolism up.

No. Atleast half the weight will be muscle if you cut that amount of weight in that time frame. You're better off sticking to 15lbs and letting the rest come off when you get into the airforce.

I think the airforce is going to burn off a pretty penny of muscle as well :hsugh:

exactly what i said especially since you eat less then normal and rest less then normal during boot camp. My recruiter was 139 when he went in and was decent. Then he came out 127 after basics.

That and when you go through basic training your going to be running your ass off for 8hrs, military branches is more about endurance not strength

10,000 calories a week you need to cut

    20 pounds x 3500 calories / 7 = 10,000 calories per week.

you need to figure about how many calories it takes to maintain your current weight and find out how you can burn extra and cut extra to = that 10,000 calories a week, don't do it all with diet cause your metabolisim will just slow down, cardio and calorie cut combo and you're good to go

worst interpretation of basic training ever. try

    wake up at 4:30
    stretch for 20 minutes
    run for about 45
    stretch for another 10
    eat
march for 30 minutes- 1 hour
sit in classes or do some range work
    eat
do pushups when you fuck up or whenever your DI/DS feels like it
march for 30 minutes- 1 hour
    eat
get mail, do pikejump, pushups, butterflies, whatever DI/DS feels like passing out to you with your mail
    go to sleep at 9:30/10pm
    do fireguard when scheduled
    repeat....

or if you are navy/air force

    buttsex until exhausted
    repeat

I think its quite possible. You'll probably lose 5 or more pounds of water weight to start. Then losing 2lbs/week while retaining most of your lean mass is quite possible. Getting enough protein and continuing to work will also help keep the lean mass on while you shed the lbs.

water weight is already gone, I'm already pass that. The 2 pounds per week i've already calculated. 7x2 = 14. so im looking at trying to lose 3 pounds per week.

Yeah i've already built a schedule and workout plan to go by. I'm not gonna lift any weights except my own in terms of resistence. got push ups, Hiit, and a ton of ab crunch routines mixed with squats.
