Take from it what you can. Keep the flaming to a minimum please.

As I am taking some time off (decided on 45days) I tried to keep away from as much resistance training as possible. I'm not doing anymore pushups or sit ups at night even. Ive dropped everything except posing.

Last night and this morning I did a full half hour of posing routines. The same routine and prep I'd do for any show. 10 minutes of manditory 10 minutes of going through my 90 second routine and 10 minutes of concentrating on some new poses

this morning I did the same thing and damn I felt great. I got up a good sweat and good pump and I was breathing pretty damn hard  I forgot how hard this shit was. Timing the manditories for 30 seconds each is a BITCH!!!!

I started to concentrate on what I flex first in a most muscular, how to pull out the lats on a hands-on hip. COncentrated on front calve spikes to pull out the shin muscle...felt great.

thanks, and its not only good for bodybuilders prepping for a show.

You can utilize it for controlling muscles and getting that mind to muscle connection. Feel the muscle flex and how to control it can do wonders in your workouts at the gym.

If you know how to pull out a lat on a proper spread you'll have that much better of a workout.

not that I know of..never really looked so I'm sure they're out there.

but below is the list of manditories they take you through in prejudging:

Start off standing tensing everything flare your lats but keep your hands to your sides...legs, abs, chest, shoulders, arms all tense.

take a quarter turn to your right and keep your left foot flat but flex your calve and hammy and kick your chest out a little and flex your sirratus, bi/tri and with your right arm squeeze your right pec up and tense it.

quarter turn to the right. Flex the fuck out of everything, calves, hamms, glutes, lats and tri's - feel free to make funny faces :) judges won't see...

quarter turn to the right. Same as the left side profile, do this with your right.

    face front.

    Front double bi
relax(but keep everything tense and flexed)
front lat spread spiking the right quad
    relax
    quarter turn to the right.
    side chest
    relax
    side tricep
    quarter turn to the right
rear lat spread - spike left hamm and calf
    relax
rear double bicep spike right hamm and calf
    relax
    left hamm string
    relax
    flex both calves
    relax
    quarter turn to the right
    side chest
    relax
    side tricep
    relax
    face front
    abdominal with left quad
    relax
    favorite most muscular
    relax
    #2 and 13 swith places
    # 8 and 4 swith places
    Front double bi
    relax
    either side sirratus shot
    relax
    #10 and 1 switch places
    face the back
rear double bi with right hamm please
rear lat spread with left hamm
    relax
if you can get back into numerical order please
30 second pose down - cue music
    thank you gentlemen

you dont have to do the whole "#8 and 13 switch places thing...:o I thought Pur would have gotten a kick outta that :hs:

its a pain in the ass when they do that because you're not thinking what your number is and so you all stand there like goof balls thinking "oh its not me" and then you look down and have to move and those seconds feel like hours tensed and flexed up like that under the 110 degree lights...I hate when they say that
