3 & 7 are the best. in the first, the socks lead away from the face. 2nd needs to be sharper and lose the labtop. Good start though
number 2, i wouldn't want to mess with her
very nice photos man, 3 is my personal favorite. like viper said, the first picture needs to lose the socks.
she's so sad
I'm not a fan of extreme close ups, but the pictures do look sharp
Oh and what camera did you use to shoot the pics?
Canon Digital Rebel
thanks for all the comments guys.
and what lens did you use? Also how did you keep the socks colored and everything else in b&w...photoshop?
photoshop is my friend.
yeah, nice pics. i like number one for some reason
They look a little soft.
When I do portraits I'll move away from af and go with mf. Key is to keep the eyes as in-focus as possible.
Good shots overall.
AF is definetly designed by men. It tend to go to the closest object in the general area you're shooting, but unfortunetly for some reason women don't like to have the boobs in focus and their face soft. Supposedly Nikon has a face recognizer n their latest cams, but whatever. Manually focussing on the eye is the key. Its much easier to do on a medium or large format cam with a bigger viewfinder
i use the little eraser head on the back of the 20D for setting the AF point. I don't trust myself with MF
