i recently applied for an arts graphic type program at my college....

i figure im decent with my art, and i have a wide range of computer graphics art, sketchs, and photographs, but i have never made or set up a pro portfolio before so im a little lost here....

should i mount all the photographs?

and sketchs, should i rip them out of the book and mount them?

and printing the computer art out or gettin it published on photo paper?

since i have not taken art classes since high school days, im afraid of all the high school students schooling me with all their art, so i must make my portfolio fancy or something ;)

any help is much appreciated, thanks! :bigthumb:

a lot of schools will request that your portfolio be either digital or on slides. Some are just happy with computer outputs of your work in a portfolio case. It really depends on the requirements of the college.

I would ask what they want.

yeah, it looks like if you have slides right on... if you don't, don't worry about it. Just get some computer outputs of your work (photograph them or scan them, then print them because you should never send originals) If they want them mailed I would just put them in a padded manila envelope so they don't fold bend or whatever and include everything listed. I don't think they want you to do a presentation so you should probably put them in an envelope and give it to them. :coold:
