So for about 2 weeks now I have been getting this very annoying pop up for a "Portable Audio Device" when nothing is being plugged in or is already plugged in. It comes up with the auto play screen with two options 1 to synchronize with Media Monkey (Default music player) or take no action. I have done both and also checked the box to take this action each time or whatever. Nothing has worked. I can't figure out what or where its coming from!!! It also comes up with a little white box that you click on and its an empty auto play screen.

    I have:

Run a full scan with AVG
    Full sweep with Webroot
    CC Cleaned
Disabled Autoplay completely in the gpedit.msc

I did some searching but found nothing specific to this issue. Found something about an autorun.inf virus or something..didn't sound like that was the case here from what I had read.

    ANY IDEAS? ANY SUGGESTIONS?!

    HELP!!

Reinstall the drivers for your media player.

Sounds like it still thinks the Zune is installed. Maybe try reinstalling the Zune software, then uninstalling it again?
