i've got a few computers on a home network with a linksys router set up with dhcp. how do you take a certain port off the firewall for all computers, not just one local ip address?

Have you opened one port on the router for all the computers to use?

Or is your problem that each computers firewall is blocking the port in question?

www.portforward.com is a good resource also

Doing that would not be something that you want to do.

Just pick a different port to open up for torrent programs on each computer. If it's gaming, then same thing applies. If you're worried about not getting the same IP address over and over again, go to stastic IPs outside of the DHCP range.
