Port Forwarding for WC3

    I've tried everything, so I figure why not ask OT.

    I'm using a linksys wireless router and vista.

    I set up a static IP, and forwarded 6112 - 6119, as well as turned off blocking of requests. Pics of the changes below:

    Those two things are all I've changed for it, so if I've missed something please let me know. I assumed forwarding those was all that needed to be done however.

    I'm not running a firewall of any type.

    Oh, my ISP is Comcast (nothing else has cable in the area)

    Haven't tried but I'm fairly certain I'd be able to host if I plugged the cable modem straight into my PC. Sadly my roommates would have something to say about this.

    Yeah, if I'm not sure I leave it be.

    WC3 is definitely awesome you jerk haha. I don't think I still play any game I've owned as long.

    Beats the hell out of WoW...

    Certain applications may require to open specific ports in order for it to function correctly. Examples of these applications include servers and certain online games. When a request for a certain port comes in from the Internet, the router will route the data to the computer you specify. Due to security concerns, you may want to limit port forwarding to only those ports you are using, and uncheck the Enable checkbox after you are finished.
