    Definately not. Unless it's the lighting. Most Mosins come laquer coated and have a more dark tint to the wood. That looks like a light stain or raw wood right there.

    Looks good either way. Mosins are fun to shoot that's for sure!

    I wish I would have bought a Polish M44 when they were cheaper. I like them much better than the lacquer coating on my other Mosins. You got a very nice one :) Congrats

    Got mine from a local random seller, in the classifieds. They turn up on gunbroker from time to time, there was one a couple months ago I put the link to above.
