Eveyrthing was fine up until a few days ago. I have not downloaded anything that would include spyware & crap. I have been using the pop up blocker that is built into XP with nice success & I have run Ad-aware & Spybot several times after this as well, but now all of a sudden none of these work & I keep getting pop up ads when I visit all sorts of site like ebay, yahoo, etc. Sites that I shouldn't get pop ups to begin with.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

Don't suggest switching to another browser! :fawk:

You don't have to download anything to get infected with spyware. You simply have to view some websites. Browsing is essentially downloading anyway if you cache sites to disk; scripts, markup language files, pics, etc.

Download any cracks lately? Visit any free porn sites? They are notorious in sending you to conspicous sites.

spyboy and adware are okay. Download cwshredder and hijackthis as well. They clean up what sb and aa miss. The M$ anti-spyware is pretty good too.

Fine. Disconnect your internet service then.
