You can just tell by the look on his face that he is crushed inside that his airship is destroyed.

Setzer looks pissed more than anything. Locke is the one that looks ready to jump over the rail.

    Always gives me goosebumps.

Someone should've by now made a 3D rendering of the end of the world in this game. What an awesome spectacle that would be.

I was going to say that too, but I didn't know if anyone would agree with that :o He's stark-raving pissed off that his ship is busted, but also is deeply emotionally hurt that his ship has fallen apart, being the only one in the world (aside from his friend's he buried).

omg I finally was able to save Cid.

The last couple of times I played it never gave me any good fish to feed him and he always died...that part was always sad as hell.

Oddly enough, I've only had Cid die once.

And are you doing the game on the original game, an emulator or one of the re-releases?

I keep that crt tv because it's the clearest crt I've ever owned, plus it has a center speaker and fits nicely on top of that thing there next to my computer desk. that's a sega behind the clock too :)

p.s. I know that calanders like 2 years old, but its neat and I never took it down

Dot. I don't wanna sound like I only play snes, but the ps3 has nothing that can touch FF6.

    Like it?

Saw it at a pawn shop, replaced my old megaman-sticker-covered old one with it.

Looks like a factory paint on it, but I didn't know they ever made one. :dunno:

I can see that, if you don't want to deal with espers and shit it's an easier game in that aspect...but the graphics of 4 & 5 are just... I just don't like them that much, still play them occasionally though. Well, 4 at least. I can't stand 5, theres nothing about that game I really enjoy.

I've got two SNES lying around (the original gray one) that I still need to take apart and tinker with.

One has issues with the controller port (port 2 doesn't work, port 1 auto-scrolls up and nothing else), the other has power issues that I've yet to diagnose.

As of late, I've been getting my FF6 fix via an emulator or the GBA version.

No shame, as a child I cried at many parts in this game. Some parts still give me goosebumps, I pretty much put myself into the world when I'm playing, as if I'm there with them.

I have the original games, but I still use the emulator a lot when playing them. Most people will watch a movie or tv and get stoned. I'll run through FF6 from beginning to end with the fastforward button in a few hours. I do it all the time. I've beat the game hundreds of times because w/ the fastforward button it takes no time at all. I've seen it enough I know the script by heart so theres no need for me to actually read what they're saying.

Kind of why I have the original cartridges, I just can't stop myself from fastforwarding all the time when I'm on an emulator :o So I like to enjoy it the way it was meant to be sometimes.

I didn't like the GBA version that much...the updated sound I just wasn't comfortable with and the extra stuff slapped into the game just didn't feel right. That said I like the GBA version of FF4 way more than the snes version.
