G8 crew signing in. Well, I don't have one, but I will eventually. I had seriously thought about getting one but to me buying new is a waste of money. I usually buy a new car, drive it for a max of 40k miles or so then sell it when I get bored- better for me to buy used.

Damn, if only we could import a Holden wagon and have it converted for a reasonable price.

All the factory parts exist... I bet it could be done without being TOO ridiculous (but still not cheap). Just import the wagon, find and buy a G8 that was rear-ended and use all the front end and interior parts to convert it, and get it certified (or, just use the G8's VIN and register it that way).

It's never been done because it's mega expensive and virtually impossible.

That's what I was getting at. I looked into importing a few cars once and decided it was just too much hassle.

Mega expensive, probably, virtually impossible, absolutely not. Did you see the BMW M5 ute a guy created?

I think that by virtually impossible he means it's a major pain in the ass.

Hoping to join soon as well. Having a bitch of a time finding one in my area with a sunroof (a must for me). My color choices are: black, red, silver, that darker silver, with white being my last choice. Really, they look good in any color.
