Anyone know anything about these?
Its designed to save weight, i think the military is testing some of it for soldier and aircraft use.
some people have problems with the case breaking apart while shooting.
nonreloadable and twice the price of wolf. I think I will pass.
seems like that would be a problem. Ejector rips off the brass part and leaves the polymer top.
One of the guys showed up with these last summer at an ARFCOM shoot. Several of us tried them, in a variety of AR-15s with no problems. The "cool" factor is high, but, as was pointed out, the price and not being reloadable doesn't make them practical.
i would hope that most would shoot w/o problems, or else they'd be pretty much worthless. i just heard a couple people that had the bolt rip the brass part out of the polymer case, and have the case stuck in the chamber. i've also heard they're pretty inaccurate
Yeah, they're definitely not worth it. If you get them to work right in your rifle, cool, but many people have problems with case breakages.
