I recently bought the Polk Monitor 60's and I love them...I bought a set of Polk R150's to use as the surrounds, and while not as crisp as the Monitor 60's they do the job of being surrounds very well...

All of my speakers (home and car) are Polk. They are the lower end models, in most cases, but I think the sound is great... but of course, sound is subjective. With a 10-12% hearing loss in each ear, my stuff might sound like garbage to someone else, but I don't much care about what anyone else hears, as long as it sounds good to me.

I have Polk's RM-7500 set-up & love it. In the dedicated room I'm about to have, I'm probably switching to Klipsch though & I'll keep the 7500s in the living room.

don't get a polk sub, they are crap. I have the R series speakers in my room and they sound good for what they cost, but fry's website www.outpost.co regularly has them on sale for cheap.
