GUN polish vs. bulgarian makarov vs. star bm 9mm?

    whats better and why? how much more expensive is 9x18 over 9x19?

    you can buy mak ammo for about the same price as 9x19

    I'd go with the bulgie mak. It's cheap, reliable, and it's a fun plinker.

    That is not much cheaper than Walmart if you didnt want to buy such a bulk

    There is no such thing as a Polish Makarov. There are polish guns that fire the Mak caliber, but Maks were only made in Russia, Bulgaria, and East Germany.

    Ammo for the star will be considerably cheaper in the long run

    As mentioned, the P-64 is not a Makarov, just same caliber. 9x18 isn't quite as potent as 9x19 but I still think it's a good round. Given the choices I wouldn't even consider the P-64. 9x18 is harder to find but if you buy online in bulk it costs the same as WWB 9x19. Maks are the AK's of pistols, simple, accurate, and go bang every time. The BM will have softer recoil but from what I hear they're not always completely reliable and service parts are a lot harder to find.
