So I ran into a guy tonight who I met one time prior as he works with a good friend of mine. I completely forgot he was in th emarket for a gun and had checked out my M&P at the time. Well he tells me he's getting the M&P .45 now.. I asked why the .45

He was told by the local police department that "9mm go to fast and have a tendency to go right through the person and hit innocent people behind them." :squint: "The department is switching from .40 to .45 because of this and for more stopping power"

So since when were cops using FMJ's again? :hsugh:

I do not regret buying my glock. But that said, I wish I had gone with the cheaper-to-shoot 9mm, or gone-for-gold and gotten the 45ACP.

.40 is just a compromise and the recoil is too snappy. Give me a .357, .38 +p or .45 any day. For cheap shooting 9mm is ftw
