The Cape Cod Times reports that Kenneth Webster was brought in Barnstable District Court in a wheelchair Wednesday and a judge set bail at $50,000. Police say more than 50 handguns, shotguns and assault rifles, along with hundreds of rounds of ammunition, were found Tuesday in Webster's rundown house, a trailer and parked cars. Police said they also recovered throwing knives, bayonets and an even an inert bomb. Detective Sgt. John Murphy says Webster voluntarily accompanied officers to the home after police obtained a search warrant. The 44-year-old Webster faces 10 counts of illegal gun possession and one count of illegal possession of ammunition. They say a man was stockpiling enough dangerous weapons to outfit a small army! The weapons cache was found about 1/4 of a mile out into the woods, off of a cul-de-sac in Marston's Mills in Barnstable. ABC 6 News was the only television crew there as police laid out what they found on 44-year old Kenneth Webster Jr.'s property. Police discovered a stash including 14 handguns, 40 rifles, over 1,000 rounds off ammunition, a large bag of gunpowder, generators, and several containers of gasoline. And that's not all.
