How is the Canon A620 vs S70.

    Canon A620 = ~ $240 shipped
    Canon S70 = ~ $250 + ship USED off eBay.

Also will it be quick enough to take pictures good at the drag strip?

I have the A620 and love it, but I don't know much about the S70. I paid $360 for my A620 back in December. :o

I think it's a good combination of some higher end features but with the size of a larger point and shoot. For that price, I'd buy the A620, get the 52 mm adapter from lensmate, and then buy Canon's wide angle lense. http://www.lensmateonline.com/newsite/A620A610wide.html

A few uncompressed (and unphotoshopped) samples...
